Christmas At My House

This was the first time I have ever hosted xmas

I felt very grown up in our new house!

I decorated the table

and the hubby got out the Stephanie Alexander cookbook

for his meat creations. There was a ham too but I forgot to take a picture of it!

There were plently of vegetables for us vegetarians too.

 And a good Aussie trifle for dessert.

 I only put the christmas tree up in the nick of time

just as well because there was lots of excitement handing out and unwrapping presents

What to get for the four year old that has everything? An encyclopedia of course to answer all those incessent WHY? questions!!

a pirate eye patch was a big hit too - thanks Aunty Liva!

Lara loved her squeaky giraffe, it was delicious.

I got some lovely interior design and fashion books.

I hope Santa brought you something nice and you were able to share the day with loved ones.
